Security Risk Crapola: Stamps.com

Tsk tsk, people never seem to learn.
If you use Stamps.com, you maybe surprised that the latest "update" to their software requires that users disable the warning that browsers provide by default when you transfer/move from a secure (SSL/https) to standard (non-secure, http) web page.
It is required - you can't run the "latest" software without accepting this setting. An email to customer service merited a response providing apologies for the "inconvenience". Inconvenience?! Stamps.com thinks it's an "inconvenience" to have users who don't know well enough sending possible sensitive information in the clear?
Sigh....talk about utter crapola.
